Really cool kit – This is a really cool kit, I love that it comes with SO many colors! The clay is kind of hard to work with though. I would say this is best for very patient children, or children who like to make very detailed crafts.

Great for crafts but a little small – I got this for my daughter’s 8th birthday because she really likes arts and crafts. I definitely thought this would be a larger kit, but so far it seems to get the job done. It comes with a bunch of little 1-inch-long packs of clay in different colors. Thankfully there’s instructions for making the different projects but still let’s my girl use her imagination. It cleans up well, but the clay is pretty hard. It was kind of tricky getting it softened up to manipulate it so we could make items.

Not as expected – The kit was not what was shown on the box. The clay was difficult to work with. It was hard to make my children’s hands, so they ended up making up their own crafts. They had fun, but it wasn’t why I got this craft. It was meant to be a memento of their tiny hands that we could have as they grow older. Clean up was very easy though.

They enjoyed getting to be creative and making gifts today. You do have to bake this clay for it to set, but we were happy with the end results. Each clay piece is also quite hard and needs to be kneaded and worked to get the proper molding consistency. You can follow the directions provided or make your own creations. Be sure to follow the cooking instructions so the artwork can properly dry.
