      Not as good as the old ones – Didn’t last very long before becoming bent

      Almost like original – Slinky somersaulted down tile stairs with only a little push to get it started. Amused my 7 year-old grandson for a short time. This slinky much heavier than others I have seen.

      Perfect for bird feeders with a larger pole – Worked great where the regular sized slinky would not fit on the bird feeder pole. Drives the squirrels crazy as they can’t climb the pole, yet doesn’t hurt them either. I guess some people play with the Slinky, but I enjoy watching the squirrels with it.

      I forgot how easily these things bend. – I think when these were invented stairs were narrower. It wouldn’t go down ours. My son still had a great time. But it didn’t last very long before he bent it.

      I guess they don’t make them like they used to… – I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my son as I had one when I was a kid. As soon as I received it, I opened it to check for any damage. Well, the unit appeared to be used or damaged. Some of the coils have gaps and the alignment of the coils appear to be off on some. I remember Slinkys being better made when I was a kid. However, looking at the ad photo closely, the unit I received does look like the one in the ad.

      A bit expensive for this old fashion toy – A bit expensive for this old fashion toy, but I am not using as a toy, but rather as a snake deterant from my bird house that are on poles. Working great so far.
