Lots of fun…even with fins falling off… – I like that my 8 year old and 5 year old grandgirls love playing with this outdoor toy. Plenty of laughter and running! Unfortunately the blue fins are meagerly glued on and are coming off during the first play session but they still shoot–maybe not as far–maybe farther. ?!? Will try some sort of glue.

A wonderful toy – young children love it! – It’s a great toy and our young grandchildren (3 and 4 years old) have a tremendous amount of fun playing with it. Of course, the rocket could land on your head, so they’re very light – something like styrofoam – and they wouldn’t hurt at all if they did. But because of the (necessarily) lightweight construction, they’re a little fragile. I’m trying to teach our grandchildren to push the rocket down from the top rather than grab the fins and pull down, because the latter can pull off the fins (and has done so). So I went on Amazon.com to buy some replacement rockets. The launcher part is quite durable. One more hint – don’t launch them too close to your house – you don’t want the rocket to land on your roof and maybe get stuck in the gutter.

Best toy ever! – We were gifted one of these when my now-teenager was three years old. It is a toy that the younger kids can easily work by themselves, which is definitely a bonus. They have a blast chasing the rockets around the yard. Even if they stomp really hard, the rockets are so lightweight that they typically don’t go too far, although I wouldn’t recommend this toy for use in a tiny backyard. Eventually the kids will learn they can pick up the launcher and direct the rockets wherever they want them to go. We buy this as a gift for all the 3 year olds we know! Truly a great toy for problem solving and for outdoor fun and exercise.

5 years olds and up will love one of these. – This rocket launcher is easy to assemble and use. I gave the durability of this item four stars because well, I just got it and the 6 year old that is it’s intended for has not yet seen or played with it. The plastic used looks like a type that will take hard use from a young boy, that said the manufacturer did not make it with any more materials than needed. I think it could launch the rockets 100 feet in the air as stated. The grandsons have had other brands of launchers like this, none worked as well as this brand. We have not opened the box at night to judge the glow characteristics, but I can say the foam that glows is of substantial size and should be easily visible in the dark. Looks like hours of fun for an active child, the more they weigh the better and the easier the glow rocket launcher will work however a youngster of any weight will be successful.

Rockets already broken – Super fun toy. The “rockets” are very light weight which is a great thing because when they land on the roof the breeze brings them down quickly but the rockets are also already falling apart.

It has staying power … Both with kids interest and with durability – I bought this 14 months ago for our 20 month old grandson on a hunch that even at that age, he may enjoy the excitement of seeing Nani make the rocket fly. Since we are vigilant in his playtime, caution about small parts ie: the toy’s wing nut, aren’t an issue. But unmonitored play is not an option for a toddler.

My son loves it – Works great and my son loves to have me shoot them in the air and chase them. The “rockets” do last okay but they tend to blow out the side after a while. I believe you can order replacements but I still have 2 or 3 that work fine.
