Keeps them occupied – Multiple use toy. You can use as a puzzle for visuual spatial skills, fine motor skills picking up pieces, sequencing putting them in order, etc….

Good Gift – I bought this for my 2 year old who we are trying to teach the ABC’s to. She loves fishing for the letters, but being a 2 year old means that we have already lost about 7 fish that we’ll end up finding in all sorts of corners of the house. It also is a little difficult for her to actually get the fish to connect to the magnetic rod because there is only the one small magnetic piece to connect to. However, this can be a benefit because it helps with hand-eye coordination. The only other thing I’d mention is that a couple of the fish that are still with the game already have some cracking on them, and while I know my little one is hard on toys, I feel that it shouldn’t have splintered in less than 2 weeks.

Great for fine motor skills and learning. – I bought this for my grandson who is 2 years old. He loves to go fishing using the rod to get the fish and then he brings to me. He is learning colors so I can tell him to get a red fish. I’m using the fish to spell his name. He’s having fun while learning.
