We make it work… – My son is almost 3 and is autistic. He is nonverbal and the speech therapist recommended this to help start identifying body parts. He loves it. It’s built well and able to survive many falls. I only have two problems really; the opening to store the parts is fragile. Surprising since how durable the rest of the body is. As your tried to put the items in, or just picking it up, it breaks off. It gets irritating after a while. Also because my son is still young, he can’t push the parts on the head fully by himself. When he does it without my help it falls off and that can trigger a melt down for him. When he is building I just go behind him and push it all the way in. I do wish they had a locking mechanism for the head to the feet. While we are building and pushing the parts in he sometimes slide off the feet. Anywho, we make it work. Buy it!
