Looks like fun – Bought this as a Christmas gift. I will revisit the review after the holiday – but I purchased the game based on other reviews and it does look cute. I opened the box to see the item. Sturdy cardboard parts. Looks easy for my 3 yr. old granddaughter to play.

Great for all ages! – My young kids love games but don’t know how to read yet so this is perfect! The game cards are sturdy and well made. The pictures are easy to understand so even if you can’t read the item on your list you still know exactly what you’re looking for! Also, game play is pretty quick so great for kids who are easily distracted.

Great first game, easy to adapt to little kids, not too boring for adults – I really like this game. I got it for my nearly 2.5-year old to introduce him to board games. He is too young for board games, but I liked a lot of things about this one. First, it relates to a real-world skill, in grocery shopping and following a list. Second, it is not too boring for older kids or even adults. The full game is a memory-style game of looking for the pieces on your list. Sure there are more exciting games out there, but it could be worse. Third, this seemed like a game you could easily adapt to first-time gamers, and that has really been true for us! My kid’s first games have been just taking turns picking out a piece to put in your cart. My husband looked for pieces to make a recipe, I looked for things I actually frequently buy when I take my son to the store, and the toddler learned the words for the pieces he picked out. As time goes on, we will start adding in other aspects of the game, like following the list, then having pieces flipped over. I like that this game could be played in different ways. The cardboard pieces are pretty sturdy, for cardboard, and while we don’t buy everything in the game, the items were all recognizable and not too uncommon.
