Cute dog – My niece wanted this last year for Christmas and didn’t get it, so I got it for her this year. I think she’s going to love it! It does take C batteries, so make sure you have them in stock. I must say I paid $79.99 for it and now it’s $99.99. Glad I bought it when I did.

Caution – The most frustrating part of this dog is the actual sensor feature. It doesn’t seem to read the sensor very well which has caused my daughter (5) to not even want to play with it. However for $100, not playing with it is disappointing.

Looks great. – We haven’t taken it out of the box yet since it is a Christmas gift. From what I see so far my kiddo is going to love it. From a parent standpoint it looks cute and entertaining however it requires an odd size battery that will become obnoxious.

Hours of fun – My brother gifted this to my son and he absolutely loves it. I took it to his preschool a couple days and the other kids were enamored. As someone who can’t have a dog, this seems like a pretty cool way for young kids to experience dogs. Though it does remind me of the tomagotchis from the late 90s.
