Fun for toddler – The ball is unique in that it is a plush toy. I bought this for my 8 mo old granddaughter. While the toy’s age range begins at 6 mos, I think she’ll have more fun with it when she walks because she currently does not play strong enough to activate the sound. It is a quality product.

Cute but electronics seemed to short out after a very short period of time – Ordered this for my grandson at age 1. He enjoyed it for a relatively short period of time though. The voice started to just repeat like a stutter, some kind of electronic issue even with new batteries inserted so I didn’t find it to be particularly durable. Also…be aware that the ball volume is kind of loud and on occasion while just sitting idle it would blurt out a phrase, startling everyone and waking the baby if he fell asleep in same room as the ball.

Great ball – This ball is super soft and colorful. I originally thought it was a bit small, but it is perfect for my 11 mo Grandson. He is able to grab it with a hand and give it a toss. It isn’t annoyingly loud which is awesome! It is one of his favorites now!

Batteries leaked after only 2 months – Batteries came with the ball. It is played with regularly and enjoyed by our granddaughter. Toy gave no indication batteries were weak, until it stopped. I opened it to put new batteries in (we had the toy a little over 2 months) and the batteries had leaked. I cleaned it up, and put in new batteries but the holder started smoking. I emailed the seller, asking to only replace the battery pack for the ball, but have not heard back.
