100% vintage look – I bought these to wear to my husband’s company Christmas party. I wore a vintage inspired dress, and wanted the rest to match that theme. These definitely had that vintage vibe I wanted. I was disappointed in the color. I’m very pale but these where almost a light muddy water brown. I expected them to be more neutral and more sheer. I knew they did not have elastic or anything to hold them up; i needed a garder belt, which i also purchased for this event. Overall I was very happy. I know you can’t really see the stockings.

Actually Fits Me – I cannot get enough of these stockings by Mila Marutti! I think at last count I have about 12 pairs, 10 that are used with garters and 2 that are the stay-ups. These are very well made, in Italy, and they feel like silk against your skin. I am a short person, 5’0, and weigh about 100- 115 and they fit me perfectly, which is saying a lot about stockings for me. The OS fits all do not actually fit all bodies, if I buy that size they literally come up to my crotch so garters are pretty much useless in that situation. So if you are looking for a stocking that is really true to size, choose these and you will not be disappointed. But pay attention to which ones you choose, the ones that need garters really do need them, otherwise, they will not stay up alone, you need the stay-ups with the silicone bands inside the top part of the leg if you are wanting to do that. THEY DO NOT STAY UP ON THEIR OWN – I bought these for a production of Rocky Horror Picture Show that I am in almost every week. That means, I was really putting these tights to the test as far as durability and quality. The character I play, Dr. Scott, does NOT wear a garter belt and sits in a wheelchair for the entirety of the performance, so I thought that if worse comes to worse I can just hike them up during scenes I wasn’t in. And thank god, because these tights could NEVER handle a performance where I stood or danced the entire time.

They sent me a medium instead of a small – I didn’t notice they were a medium until I went to try them on, after the return period had expired. I went to put them on and was so careful as they were delicate but there was 3 snags on them by the time I got them up.
