Overall pleased, but paint was chipping – When the puzzle arrived the pieces were STUCK inside of it. I had to pull them out with a bit of force and it seems that perhaps the paint wasn’t fully cured when they were packaged. Some of the colored paint came off the pieces and stuck to the wood. Not ~too~ concerned as the description says non-toxic paint. Overall pleased and my baby loves to play with this!

The first day I set it down, she played for hours! – Well painted, durable, easy for baby to grab, smooth edges. Makes teaching their basic shapes fun and easy! Love it!

Great toy for 1 year old – I got this for my son a couple of weeks after his 1st birthday. At first, he just ran around sucking on the knobs and playing with the pieces. The knobs are glued and screwed into the puzzle pieces and they have held up great. I showed him about once a week how to use the puzzle and let him decide where to go from there. Just the other day at 14.5 months, he decided to place the pieces into the puzzle. He now does the puzzle regularly and seems to get pleasure in completing it on his own. He still runs around with the pieces in his mouth and has dunked the puzzle in his water table, unfortunately. No splinters, paint slop, glue slop or anything else to complain about, however, I don’t think this will become a hand me down because of the softness of the wood, which is now adorned with dozens of chomp marks. Paint is still holding strong even through the water table and toddler chomping. I’d say it was worth the price in the end.

Cool toy – I chose this for my grand niece’s first birthday. I don’t see this family very often, so I didn’t want to overspend, but I wanted the gift to be thoughtful and fun. This was perfect. It was a hit on the day it was unwrapped, which I was able to view long distance via an Instagram video. Very pleased with size compared to the little hands that were figuring out what went where!
