5 year old loves it! Good Quality. – Great Melissa and Doug toy quality as usual. It is fun because there is a menu to follow to help with making specific smoothies. You can change the cup inserts to match the smoothie type, however these are not as easy for my 5 year old to put in. The inserts are more durable than I expected and am thankful for that. She loves cutting the fruit and adding it to the blender to then serve us a glass. The glass is larger than a kids version at a fast food restaurant but smaller than a full size glass used at home for drinking. The blender does not shake but the lid and the blender fit the base.

Fun imaginative play – I ordered this for my 3 1/2 year old grandson, he loves cutting the fruit, putting it in the blender and turning the knob to make it work. It was a big hit he shows it to anyone entering the house and takes their order for a smoothie. I’ve been served so many smoothies it’s a good thing they aren’t real I’d be as big as a house.
