Fun Quality Time – It took awhile to complete. Which was a good thing. It was nice to have this fun project to keep working on. My 3 year old loved it. She was a little impatient with doing a little each day then letting dry but that is good because I am trying to teach her patience. I had to glue the gems on. And I actually had to do quite a bit of the work. Not a project a 3 year old can do without alot of help and supervision. Also I do not see how anyone could make it look like the pictures on the box lol. My daughter loves it and it was alot of fun.

Cute – My only complaint is that there isn’t really a way to attach the ribbons it comes with. I ended up putting glue in the whole for the stick. Then I put the ribbons over the end of the stick and shoved it all the hole to keep the ribbons in place.

It was great…for about an hour – Got this for my 3 year old little girl, she’s majorly into princess and fairies and fairy godmothers and such, and I thought this would be perfect for her! She could make it her own unique magic wand! It was going well till about an hour later when she dropped it outside and the rod splintered in the middle, instantly had to throw it away and she was heart broken! It looked like it was maybe rotten or tin the middle of it, it was black and hollow at the spot it splintered at.
