As others have mentioned, you should make copies of the templates because the letter colors are obliterated once the peg goes through. Also, some lights shine brighter than others due to how close they are to the LEDs. The flashing light option is a welcome surprise.

The second one we got works great. I didn’t think my son would really be that into it when he has his tablet and other less retro things to play with. I was wrong though. This is the first toy he breaks out when friends come over to visit and they all just love it.
