More like 12 months and up – This product is labeled for 18+ months. I have this to my 18 month old. He twisted and pulled all the knobs and was promptly bored by it. Might be better for a younger baby.

Way better than I thought at first!! – I got this for my 2 1/2 year old nephew. When I got it, I thought “This is it? This is all it does?!” But when my nephew got his hands on it he !oved it! My 1 1/2 year old niece liked it too. Honestly, I don’t get it. It has a switch, a wheel that can be flipped with a finger, a lever, another wheel that can be held onto by hand, and a twisting nob on top. He walked around with it mindlessly playing with it. None of them make satisfying sounds or have satisfying tactical responses. But, it works! And older babies/toddlers will love it.

Good, as long as your little one isn’t a thrower – This little toy is a lot of fun for our little one, but it is small enough for him to throw. Not that he can get it very far or do much damage with it, but the fidgeter on the top has broken a few times after some rough play. It’s easy enough to fix with a little adult fidgetting, but easy enough break again too. Still, my 1 year old enjoying playing with it, even if the top is waiting to be fixed again.
