Cute – Easy for a toddler to handle the pieces. Easy to open the bottom to get the pieces out.

My granddaughter is on the box – Great toy for kids, good for cognitive skills. I ordered a couple of them as gifts.

    3. K. S (verified owner)

High quality, unbreakable – As an occupational therapist that works with 10+ kids per day, I can say that this toy is extremely durable! I work with kids that tend to bang on toys and throw them, and this toy is pretty much unbreakable. Conceptually, it’s such a cute and fun toy! Not only does it work with fine motor and “put-in” skills, but it also has so many colors, numbers, and shapes/textures so that you can have your child work on discriminating and identifying all of those features! Definitely one of my favorite toys on the market!

    4. C. S (verified owner)

We love this toy – We really like this toy. It’s super cute with bright, fun colors, and it’s a learning opportunity for children. The plastic is durable and the size is good for young children learning to count. You can focus on counting the pieces and you can work on recognizing colors with this toy. I’m always a fan of things that make learning a bit more fun.

Hand eye coordination – My autistic daughter uses this activity during occupational therapy and it’s been incredibly helpful for hand over hand and hand eye coordination.

Fun dexterity toy – This is a fun, simple dexterity toy for toddlers. A 2yo will have fun trying to put the candy pieces in and get them out. But even a 4yo will enjoy it, good for counting (the candy is numbered 1-10). Very good quality and durable.

Great for motor skills & hand eye coordination but could be better. – I wanted to love this more than I did. It is cute and well-made, but I was expecting more. While the concept is perfect for this age bracket, I think it would have been nice to have a couple of candies made of fabric with crinkle paper and ribbons. A mix of textures would have been nice. Another thing is, if the pinata is full, the candy can be hard to get out of the bottom. A few ribbons on Pia’s tail would have been cute too! Also, I am not a fan of adding numbers to an item and calling it educational. It would have been more meaningful to have the bumps correlate to what number is printed on the candy. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Learning Resources and have purchased countless products throughout the years, so I say this as a fan, but I feel the pinata could have even been better! Kids will still love filling and spilling, but I think there is room for improvement.
