3 year old loves them – These are awesome. My 3 year old loves them and they even come with a little book showing you all the things you can make and how to make them!!!

Fun travel toy – We have other magnetic toys at home that our kids love, but we wanted something that we could just leave in the car as a fun travel toy. This set comes with a nice bag to put all of the pieces in. The plastic is fairly basic, nothing fancy, and you get one magnet on each side. The magnets are polarized, so we occasionally get frustrated kids when they don’t stick together exactly as they want them as they sometimes have to rotate the piece until it clicks together nicely. I wouldn’t say this is the best set out there, but it is great to have on hand when you need a little fun distraction.

Not as pictured. Underwhelming. – The pictures shown in the listing are not at all what you get. In total you’re able to make four small cubes and six small pyramids. Hand size in my photos for reference. We got this to supplement our actual name brand Magformers since our kids always fight over the pieces but Magformers are so expensive. These are definitely lower quality than the Magformers and the magnets are not as strong. When in cube shaped like this they hold together well enough, I think. There’s just not much you can build other than a couple of small houses with the pieces that are in this set. If you’re buying this for an airplane toy or something where you need a small toy, it could work. If you’re buying this expecting kids actually build anything resembling the pictures in the listing, you’re not going to get it. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Not as pictured – The colors in the picture are captivating. They are almost like a shimmer in person and they are neon. And the kind of neon that hurts your eyes. I thought they were going to complement my other set well and they don’t. Very disappointed. Sadly these were a gift from one of my students families who purchased off my Amazon list so I can’t return them. But now I know for the future.
