Simple and engaging – I love this toy and so does my son. He is 5 months old and this is the first toy that he has engaged with and actively played with and reached for. It’s so simple but engaging. It keeps him entertained for a long time.

Almost love it, but not perfect – I bought this because my baby’s physical therapist has one in her office and baby loved it. Unfortunately, when we got ours, it didn’t sound as loud and bright as the one in the doctor’s office. It was so dull that I thought it was broken. I disassembled the thing, and found that part of the issue was that the rods inside were bent, so the metal part that moves to create the chiming sound didn’t move as much. I ended up straightening them out and it sounded a lot better. It’s still not as good as the one at the doctor’s office, but it’ll do for now. Baby still lives pushing it around.

My son’s favorite toy! – This thing is my son’s favorite toy. He got it as a Christmas present when he was only 4 months old, so couldn’t interact with it a great deal, but loved watching it wobble and listening to the sound. Then at 5 months old, he because really into it, kicking and batting at it, and now at 6 months old, thinks it’s amazing. It’s fairly heavy for him, but he will still pick it up for a few seconds before dropping it. We put it on his Exersaucer and as he bounces and moves around, it makes this toy wobble around and play nice notes (similar to a xylophone sound, but with less vibration). For tummy time, he just loves it and reaches for it before the other toys we surround him with. It’s very sturdy – he’s dropped it off his Exersaucer numerous times, but it survives. It’s a high quality toy that I would expect to be more expensive for its size, sturdiness and utility. Haba is a quality brand and we’ve loved all Haba toys in our collection, past and present.

I figured the small bell inside and the toys ability to right itself when pushed over would be entertaining. However, the toy kind of gets stuck on an angle frequently and doesn’t have the rollie bounce back I expected. The sound is pleasant but that alone isn’t enough to catch baby’s interest.
