No batteries required! – My granddaughter loves banging things so this was a perfect toy for her. She can hammer away at the screws then turn it over and do it all over again. It’s virtually indestructible and the hammer is not heavy enough for her to hurt herself.

Hard to grasp – My 14 mo. old finds it hard to grasp the big hammer handle – but he wants to play with it so he usually holds it at the narrow part of the handle. doesn’t work quite as well…..
