Wish I had found this sooner! – My son was having trouble with waking at night and being unable to self-soothe while teething around 16 months. He was never the best sleeper but not horrible, but suddenly he was just inconsolable for (seemingly) no reason I could find multiple times a night. I bought this out of random desperation thinking it was stiff and safe enough to have in his crib- it’s been AMAZING. i put it on as he goes to sleep and he’s asleep before it shuts off (I think it’s 4-5 mins). If he wakes at night he now knows how to push the belly and will put it over his ear and go back to sleep. I do notice sometimes the batteries drain quickly but I think it’s because he presses it over and over when he has times when he’s just awake at night (and not screaming!)

Definitely works – I’m giving this product 4 stars because I wish the volume had more settings it’s a little louder than I would like even on the lower setting. Very cute definitely soothes I just wish I discovered this right after I had my baby but my 2 and a half year old loves it.

Adjustable Sound! – I ordered this for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is a nice size for her. She will be 4 months at Christmas and is not yet grasping toys, but will be soon! This toy is so cute. The rubber part is quite soft and pliable to touch. The toy has two different volume controls, which I’m sure her parents will appreciate. Very pleased with this purchase!

Baby loves this! – This is actually my 2nd soothe and glow seahorse as I bought one for my daughter years ago when she was born and she loved it back then. I recently had another little girl and bought one for her as well (1st one went to my nephew when he was born). It’s a great addition when she’s in her rock n play as that one’s volume can be loud and the rockers motor is loud as well.

Great! – 3 years later and my son still sleeps with this every night. It is great for traveling as well. The batteries last forever too, I have only had to replace them once. A friend had this on their baby registry and I had to get it for her.

Cute but LOUD, even on the quieter setting – My daughter is 6mo and we were using a soothing toy that my 4 year old received when she was a baby. That thing was a MIRACLE soother but was part of a Play Yard set and not sold separately… so we needed to find something else once it stopped working. This was super cute, a good size, and on sale, so I thought we’d give it a try. Well, it is VERY cute and my daughter loves to play with the fins while she’s awake… but it is LOUD. There are two volume settings; one is OBNOXIOUSLY loud and the other is still extremely loud. Too loud. It keeps her awake. I also wish the light pulsed (or had the option to do so), but stays on the whole time. We will keep it because it was only $10, but we will still need to find something else to soothe her to sleep.
