I have given these as gifts many many times – This is such a favorite toy in our house that we has bought one for every single friend my daughter has. If a birthday is coming up, the first thing we check is if we have already gifted them these binoculars. They are study and have survived 2 years of my kids throwing them around, dropping them, stepping on them, etc. She takes these with us on every trip and to the park. I did clip off the string to make them safer, so she could not put it around her neck.

Nature explore – Our four year old loves these as a present. There isn’t much of any zoom to them but it made him feel like he was a real explorer. It’s plastic and we’ll see how the long term durability of it is but so far it’s withstood a few car rides and use around the yard.
