Not bendable, but cute – This is the first elf on a shelf I’ve owned. I was expecting wire inside so it would be posable since it’s advertised as “bendy” in the description so I’m a little disappointed. I had a hard time balancing the elf to sit up for the photo so I’m not sure how many of my posed ideas will work now. Another disappointment was splotches of paint splattered on the face, but very minimal.

Simply ADORABLE! – We have been adding elves throughout the season to keep the kids off guard lol, there’s 2 at home, the teacher put one in the classroom and I figured I’d get 2 for our vehicles! The absolutely loved them! These are the traditional nostalgic elves that I remember my mom having on either side of our tree, or in the tree. I love that they have the velcro on their hands and feet. I was a tad disappointed in the “pom pom” on the hat (it’s just flat felt) but other than that, the face is a great quality plastic. (Kids got in my vehicle today to see one hanging upside down from one foot caught in the sunroof LOL – the giggles and smiles were worth everything….plus now they are mesmerized that “Santa” keeps sending elves to watch them — there’s no where for them to hide anymore LOL — al in great fun!)

Absolutely perfect – I think this is great. Admittedly, I never brought a “real” elf on the because I can’t get myself to spend $30 on one. But I think this is absolutely adorable and a wonderful alternative. I’ve compared pictures between the one I have and a “real” one and I think that the face is cuter on this and it actually has elf ears! I like the stripe pants and the belt too. Definitely more detail in this than the $30 one. I like that it’s unique compared to the one that every single person has . My daughter is going to be very happy when she wakes up tomorrow.

I wasn’t even sure my autistic child would be interested. This elf is perfect for what we need. He’s cute and I love that his hands velcro. Great for the price – I have an original Elf on the Shelf and just got this Elf Behaving Badly. It was much less money. Some good features are that it has beans in its bottom to weigh it down, it has hands that have velcro and can detach so that you can have it hold something or wrap around something, and it hat is not removable. The original is very flimsy, difficult to position and keep stable, its hands are attached and cannot come apart, and its hat constantly falls off. So this one is so worth the money! The only complaint I have is that the shoes are just felt and look awkward, flimsy, and seem to alway bend in the wrong direction.
