Total hit with the 3 year old – Finally, a board game that is both simple for my 3 year old AND not completely mind numbing for adults! We definitely love Bluey in this house, but even though this game is pretty entertaining it does have its flaws. Game play itself is great and super easy to pick up, but putting it together and spinning the palm tree is…problematic?

The game would’ve been good… – The game board underneath is supposed to have “shadowy bits” and “sunny bits” that show through the top part. The game I received must have been misprinted because it only had shadowy bits, making it useless to play.

There was a defect with the board. – My son loved the game. He’s 6, autistic and loves bluey! I feel like the rules were lacking in detail, but we figured out our own way of playing. The board itself was missing the backward printed arrows that are supposed to show through the holes in the top board, but I just colored in the spaces and drew my own backward arrows.

Cute game, one drawback – This is a cute concept for a game based on the show. The only difficulty was an incorrectly printed gameboard. Apparently this was an issue that many people encountered, but Moose Toys was very accommodating in getting a corrected board to us quickly once I contacted them and confirmed purchase.

Stupid palm tree – Fun game to play with my 2 and 4 year old. My only complaints are the dang palm tree is so hard to twist. And the assembly could be better. When you twist the palm tree you have to hold the entire board or it twists and go flying around. It’s supposed to click 1 time and make the shadows shift but most of the time we have to turn 4,5,6 times to get it turn the shadows one spot. Once I figured it out it was fine but my kids are unable to turn it themselves.

Fantastic game – but where are the sunny spaces? – This is a wonderful game, great quality for the pieces and a lot of fun for my kids. Our only complaint is that the instructions indicate there should be sunny spaces and shadow spaces, but our wheel only had shadow spaces. We are adapting our play to accommodate this but it would be nice to have a wheel with all the spaces.

The more we play, the more we enjoy! – Yes, it is not sturdy enough and we needed to mend with tapes; we also needed to read the instruction again and again and watch YouTube’s; but this game is worth buying!!!! The more we play we find an interesting outcome!! Sometimes a person can goal quickly, sometimes a person needs to go back to the starting point! Whenever my kid (2.5 year old) gets a cup cake card, he gets very excited! He also loves turning the palm tree. We just liked Bluey episodes and this game is based on the shadowland episode. It will be more fun if you watch the episode.
