Tons of fun! – This is a favorite for our 3- and 5-year-old grandkids. Note: stacking the dominos in the “smokestack” takes a little time but is teaching us (all!) about patience and the big reward at the end. Note: it does blow the whistle while dropping the dominos so be prepared for a short burst of noise. That said, with little ones around that is pretty typical. LOL

Good Gift, BUT… – First, let me say my child’s face lit up when he opened this as a birthday gift. But, my goodness, is this toy LOUD. There’s no volume button on it, so it’s at peak volume all… the… time. So, the toy would totally grate your nerves, if your child decides to turn it on, and leave it on- just for fun! Not to mention, it takes forever to load the dominoes, because the holes in the sides of the cartridge are far too large, causing the domino pieces to fall out as they are being inserted. The front of the train is also not securely fastened with a much- needed screw, so it came off easily…but at least the domino train itself stacks perfectly!

I do wish there was an easier way to load the dominos, because loading the takes the longest and is tedious. My son is ok with that but I could see some other children losing interest just from that alone. Other than that, great quality, and super fun!!
