Airplane mom here – My 3yo son loves airplanes, so I’ve kind of become a vicarious collector. These little planes are a good filler and for what they are and how many there are the price isn’t bad. I buy the replicas and die cast planes/cars which get spendy individually as you pay for quality. My son loves all his planes, but plays with them differently. With these ones he mostly likes lining them up or carry the whole collection around . when he tries to “drive” the planes along the ground or couch they scrape and he doesn’t like it much. They don’t have a forefront wheel which makes playing a little awkward but he still finds them entertaining, they’ve survived a week so far without breaking. If your kids like to throw or crash things into each other , you’d be better off with something of a different sort.

The size was perfect and I was able to glue the little planes to the canvass with E6000 adhesive. I’ll give him the planes in the set that I don’t need for the art – he’ll probably like those best!
