Great gift – My autistic son loves these! Only negative I have is sometimes it’s hard turning them off, even if I wipe the water off the sensor. Also idk why suction power is a rating on here. They don’t suction which is OK with me.

Only the rocket light will eventually fade while my son takes his one hour bath about halfway through but it comes back full power the next day. I read the reviews of the light dimming and thought for less than $12, I can live with it even if I have to buy it every month because it beats those bath toys with openings that eventually have mold growth inside them which I absolutely hate. For the first month, I kept putting the paper that came on them back on at the end of bath time as I felt that would save the toy batteries so it wouldn’t die out but once the rocket started going out which I think was due to my toddler son chewing on it, I stopped giving myself more work and just put them up without reattaching the paper. So far, all the other toys stay lit except for the rocket that goes very dim midway through his bath every night since he chewed it up. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase and how well these bath toys lights are shining as my son absolutely love them.

You and water are essentially the battery for these things, meaning, even well after bath time, the moisture will keep them on until completely dry, giving the little LED bulbs inside little time to live. Even after drying them off, some will still remain lit until completely dry. Needless to say, these things have already began to die after a months worth of bath use. Wouldn’t be so bad if they were a tad bit cheaper, I suppose. Fact is, it’s not a product with good life expectancy.
